About 64 cm (25.25 inches).
Coat:
The outercoat is think and coarse and under-coat is greasy and wooly
Character:
This dog is friendly, affectionate, and loyal, but can have a mind of its own.
Temperament:
Alaskan Malemutes generally get along well with children. Their friendliness makes them somewhat unsuitable for watchdogs.
Care:
Not much grooming is required, however a good combing with a coarse comb is required when shedding.
Training:
Although they are friendly, Malamutes need a firm approach in their training.
Activity:
The Alaskan Malemute needs a lot of exercise. At least one hour a day of hard exercise is required.
